I'm hiring a part time Content Assistant for my YouTube channel*.*

Your main role will be to design educational PDFs for my videos and online courses.

My name is Kate Boyd and I’m a classical pianist: I teach at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and I also have an active performing career.

On YouTube I teach classical pianists at the intermediate through advanced levels. My audience consists of pre-college and collegiate-level piano students, adult learners, and their teachers.

Here's a link to a PDF from my channel. At 10 pages, this is one of the longer ones - most will be 3-5 pages.

🎹 The role:

• In this role, you’ll eventually “own” the entire PDF process from creation to publication, including design, layout, landing page setup, and email integration.
• You will design downloadable PDF documents to support the long-form YouTube videos that I publish on my YouTube channel. (Example formats: checklists, worksheets, practice guides, summaries, exercises, etc.)
• These PDFs serve as free downloadable resources that viewers opt in to receive, which helps build my email list.
• PDFs are between 3-10 pages.
• You will also create/design PDFs and course workbooks for online courses. These are larger projects, but less frequent.
• Some of the PDFs will involve basic use of music notation software (notating scales or arpeggio patterns in multiple keys, for example).
• Since I publish YouTube videos weekly, and there will be one PDF to accompany each video, you’ll be creating roughly four PDFs per month.
• You will also upload the PDFs and create simple landing pages for each one.
• The PDFs and landing pages will use templates, but you will improve on the existing design over time.
• This is a remote position. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana (USA), so if you are local we would be able to meet occasionally as needed. ☕
• Pay will be by project and will be based on experience and size of projects.

⭐️ Who I’m looking for:

My ideal candidate will be a musician with piano skills who is a skilled enough graphic designer to be able to make attractive-looking PDFs for my channel, with the ability to respond to feedback well while also taking creative initiative.
